Located less than 10 miles from both historic Savannah & Tybee Beach, this home is the perfect place to escape while providing easy access to all your favorite spots! Bring the whole family for some southern sun, fun & relaxation. The space Built several years ago by my mother-in-law for family gatherings in Savannah, this unique low country style house has cottage charm & character in every detail of the property. Bright cheerful colors add to the vacation atmosphere with lots of space inside & out to relax and enjoy YOUR family gathering. This will make finding us again quick & easy:) Guest access Guests will have access to all of the house except the garage, workshop & attic. Our yard is not fenced in and therefore the property is not pet friendly. Guests will also have access to the covered dock and floating dock. Please do not move any furniture to the floating dock as the wind can easily blow it in to the river. Also, we do provide starter rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent for 2 loads & a shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in all bathrooms. Please plan to bring your own extra toiletries, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc. if you are staying for more than a few days. Other things to note Special Recommendations: We do like to offer our guests specialty vacation experiences at their request. We feel our homes provide a “live like a local” feel and strive for a personal touch that extends to the services we recommend below. Chef Our chefs specialize in preparing personalized dinners or meals tailored to your preferences for up to 12 people. Baker Our baker specializes in cakes, cookies, meringues, cupcakes and amazing sweet treats of all kinds. I frequently send her a photo of something I’d like for a party or small gathering and she can make it! Most recently, she made my mothers 80th birthday cake and there wasn’t one morsel left over:) Tour Guides Our guides specialize in history tours of Savannah’s Landmark Historic District. They can tailor your tour to your preferences…history, architecture, ghost or pub tour. Certified Yoga Instructors Our instructors specialize in providing a class for your group’s specific needs either on the back porch or dock at the River House or if you are staying at Parker House or Harris St townhouse, they can do them in the Square by the house. They will bring everything your group needs for the class. Charters We also have recommendations for fishing trips, dolphin watching and shark tooth hunting charters!
