The Butternut House

You will be steps away from the Millennium Trail and a short walk from Wellington shops and restaurants. Wellington Beach is an easy walk and perfect for families and sunbathers, with its warm shallow waters and sandy bottom. It’s a perfect place to launch your kayaks or small watercraft. All the amenities of the County are at your doorstep with wineries, cideries, breweries, markets, artist tours and many others. Sandbanks Provincial Park, the shops in Bloomfield and Picton are minutes away. The space Lovely early 1900’s Georgian home fully updated awaiting your visit. This tranquil home features 3 spacious bedrooms (1 king with on-suite, 1 queen and 1 with 2 full beds), 2 bathrooms, a large living room with a gas fireplace and a spacious dining room for your enjoyment. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch, in the kitchen, or on the pool deck. The pool is great for families with depths of 3-5’ (seasonal). Please respect pool hours. Guest access You will have full access to the home EXCEPT the back mudroom, basement apartment, entire back barn & garage, chicken coop, and raised veggie bed areas. Please enjoy our spacious backyard with the magnificent Butternut Tree as well as the pool in summer. We have a few games you can play in the spacious back yard including Croquet, or just spend time with the kids by playing catch. Inside you can watch your favourite shows on the living room frame TV (Disney+, Crave, Netflix & Amazon Prime) while cocooning on the oversized incredibly comfortable couch. Other things to note The home is ideal for families on vacation, or a couples or friends getaway. We don’t allow parties or other guests on the premises without approval ahead of time. We are not the best spot for an exuberant pre-wedding weekend, or bachelorette group, but we can recommend great spots for that.
