Beachfront 3 bedroom beachfront bungalow located in a typical fisherman's village, with sea views on Gunner's coin island. This rustic style bungalow is ideal for a family of 6 people or a group of friends, wishing to experience the authentic Mauritian lifestyle, whilst enjoying the flexibility of an equipped private home. The bungalow is a townhouse style with a private garden. It has 3 bedrooms, one on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. The space The bungalow is a townhouse style with a private garden. It offers a comfortable terrace overlooking a private garden from where you can enjoy the spectacular views over the lagoon and the Gunner's coin island as well take in the breathtaking sunsets. Featuring an outdoor shower, and a barbecue grill (charcoal), this bungalow will provide all basic things you need for a comfortable beach holiday. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a TV (smart TV with Netflix) in the living room, as well as high speed internet. All the bedrooms are air conditioned. There is a bathroom on the ground floor (separate toilet) and another one upstairs. The dining table is set under the covered . The bungalow is serviced daily by Laetitia, except on week-ends (Saturdays and Sundays) and public holidays. We will always be happy to cater to your needs as much as we can. This included some cooking and preparing local dishes for you (all ingredients to be provided by you). We also maintain the garden every week. Guests are welcome to use the free beach parking area located 200 meters from the bungalow or park on the roadside just before the bungalow on the right. Please note, there is no parking available inside the bungalow property. As we share the entrance with immediate neighbours, using the designated street parking helps maintain a respectful space for all. The lagoon directly in front of the bungalow is very shallow. On the right side of the beach, there is a small natural “pool” protected by rocks, where parents can enjoy swimming with their small children, as the water level is also not too deep. For those wishing to swim in deeper water, this is possible on the right side after the rocks where the boats are anchored. *** TOURIST FEE: A €3 per adult (12+) per night Tourist Fee applies, as required by the Mauritius Revenue Authority. Other things to note Renting a car is recommended so that you may visit the island or for daily needs like grocery shopping. Grand-Gaube is an authentic fishing village in the North of Mauritius. It is the perfect place for those wishing to be away from the touristy, but crowded village of Grand-Baie and being only 15-20 minutes by car from it. The capital, Port-Louis, is a 45 minute drive from the bungalow (avoiding peak hours ).
