Our 5-acre property is shared with a few other unique Airbnb stays and long-term residents, so we kindly ask guests to stay within the areas designated for the cottage and avoid wandering into other guest spaces or up to the main house. This helps everyone enjoy privacy and quiet during their stay. You’re welcome to walk to the horse meadow to visit our rescue horses and burro from the fence line. Please use pedestrian paths, and avoid approaching the main house—our rescue dogs get excited and may bark when they see visitors. We offer self check-in with a lockbox and gate code, allowing you to arrive at your own pace. If you need anything during your stay, we’re just a message away and happy to help. Other things to note The cottage sits on 5 peaceful acres shared with a few other unique Airbnb stays and long-term residents. While your cottage and patio are private, we kindly ask guests to stay within the areas designated for your stay to ensure privacy and quiet for everyone on the property. We occasionally have well-behaved rescue dogs at the main house. They may bark if visitors approach unexpectedly, so please avoid walking up to the main house unless arranged in advance. Our rescue horses and burro live in the meadow below. You’re welcome to enjoy watching them from the fence line or while walking by, please do not enter their enclosure unless invited. Nature is part of the charm here. You may see peacocks, hummingbirds, deer, hawks, owls, woodpeckers, and other wildlife around the property. Their presence adds to the peaceful atmosphere, but please do not feed wildlife, and keep doors closed to prevent curious visitors from wandering in. This is a quiet sanctuary, and many residents turn in early.
