Cozy, quiet furnished lower level one bedroom for up to two adults, ages 21+; not suitable for children. The front porch and backyard patio & deck are available to guests when not in use by ownere. Available for 14 days or more. Smoking of any kind is NOT allowed in the apartment. Two large egress openings keep the space bright & cheerful. You will enjoy the apartment's comfortable setting and the lovely decor. Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood near transit, bike trails, and Red Rocks! The space You enter a large, relaxing open foyer that leads to your open living space. Here you can relax on the futon sofa that opens to a full-sized bed (for your overnight guests,) A large wicker rocking chairs and a large, high-back wicker chair make for comfortable seating. A credenza holds a large smart television. Completing the room are casual rugs, a coffee table and a bookcase. All rooms have original paintings or signed prints, and charming hand-made wall art. The living area opens to a large size eat-in kitchen. It has an antique oak table for four and an antique bureau made into a coffee/tea station containing electric coffee and tea pots, a toaster, and mugs. It is set beneath a bright window well with a large shelf for plants or whatever. Next to the coffee bar is the first of two small refrigerator/freezers. Opposite the coffee bar is the new kitchenette area with a long counter and new wooden cabinets above and below, full of everything you’ll need for eating and cooking. Above the sink is a microwave oven, and on the counter is an electric hot plate and an air fryer. At the end of the counter is the 2nd small refrigerator/freezer. Next to that is a tall floor-to-ceiling storage closet. At the far-end of the kitchen are another four, side-by-side floor-to-ceiling storage closets, with vacuum cleaner, mop. broom, etc. These closets will provide you with space for many small and large belongings. The kitchen floor is covered with a decorative floral vinyl floor mat to brighten the room and make for easy cleaning. The bathroom is off the foyer, backing the kitchen. It is tiled with stone and has a large glass shower stall with a stone-tiled bench. The granite counter sink has storage space above and below. Finally, you will come to your large bedroom just off the foyer, featuring a queen-sized bed with cozy quilts and linens. You’ll have double wall closets and plenty of bureau space. An antique desk sits under the large, bright egress window well which has an easy-access escape should you (hopefully not) need it. Full access to the washer and dryer on the main floor is available at convenient times. If you like to cook or bake something special in a larger, well-equipped kitchen, you are most welcome to use the one upstairs. You can also have some designated refrigerator, freezer, and food storage space in the kitchen for your convenience. All utilities are included. Guest access By entering your unique code into the lock on the front door, you will enter a semi-private hallway that leads to your private stairs to the lower level where your bright, stylishly-decorated 600+ square foot apartment awaits.The apartment can also be reached through the garage using a garage door opener available to guest(s) for duration of their stay. Other things to note 40/20 friendly - outside only in backyard. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome in your special, personal apartment in our home.
