Beautiful 4 BR 2 full bath house 90 minutes from Chicago but a world away. Nestled on a private path with nature all around and Lake Michigan views, it's a perfect 4-season retreat. Large yard, swing set, and breathtaking sunsets. In Stevensville, Michigan, 10 minute drive to downtown St. Joseph. Near restaurants, shopping, breweries, and only a 40 minute drive to Notre Dame. Note: Adjacent properties are private - no trespassing. 7 guests max. Non Smoking. Not available June-August. The space Main room downstairs includes a seating area with large windows with lake views, wall-mounted TV with Netflix/Amazon/etc. Separate dining area and standard kitchen. Master bedroom upstairs with king bed connected to bathroom (Jack & Jill). Bedroom #2 across hall with two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king. Bedroom #3 is downstairs (main floor) with a king bed and great lake views with bathroom (tub/shower combo) adjacent. Bedroom #4 has a bunk bed (queen on bottom, twin on top 80 lb max). The basement is unfinished (drywall walls, no finished ceiling, no flooring but throw rugs) with laundry (washer/dryer), kids play area, and ping-pong table. Sprawling front yard with lake views and lots of space; a fire pit area (bring marshmallows for s'mores) and a swingset/playground area for kids. Guest access 6 Adults max. Other things to note Four season property -- there is so much to do in SW Michigan including famous beaches, adorable downtown St. Joseph with shops and restaurants, fall foliage, winter sports, breweries, wineries, apple picking -- the options are endless. Famous Tosi's Italian restaurant and companion Bit of Swiss bakery are an easy and scenic one-quarter mile walk (or drive) away. There is a wonderful scenic lookout at the end of Glenlord Road (one quarter mile walk from the house). However please note that the properties on Lake Forest Path -- even the vacant ones -- are privately owned and are strictly off limits. Please understand there is no trespassing to respect the neighbors and there are dangerous bluff drop offs. You must stay only on the property and the main road in only. While the lake is there, there is no beach access. You will need to go to Silver Beach, or a list of other nearby beaches are in the guide.
