The space Key features: - Walled Garden: Sink into the wooden barrel hot tub*, relax on the teak sun loungers or enjoy an alfresco BBQ in a private garden featuring climbing hydrangeas, wisteria, scented roses and a seasonal herb garden - Kitchen: Wonderfully equipped kitchen, including a Nespresso machine and complimentary tea & coffee to get you started - Sitting Room: Cosy log burner with plenty of firewood, cupboard full of board games and DVDs, Smart TV (Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc) - Dining Room: Light and airy dining room facing the country garden through generous French doors and with gorgeous Sophie Conran crockery and stylish serve wear provided - Washrooms: Ground floor washroom with a roll-tub facing the garden and first floor shower room with complimentary natural & ethically sourced Wiltshire-based Bramley toiletries and luxurious and fluffy White Company towels - Main Bedroom: Comfy king-sized bed made up with White Company linens set by a lovely decorative fireplace, reading nook in a quiet corner and a pretty window seat overlooking the By Brook river - Second Bedroom: Two single beds decorating in charming green & ivory florals - Private Meadow: Access to a private waterfront meadow 50 meters away to exercise the dog or enjoy a summer picnic (blanket & basket provided in summer months) Other things to note Parking: There is a small space in front of the property suitable for loading/unloading vehicles, and private parking can be found in the grounds of the Manor House hotel, a 5 minute walk away. Hot Tub: Available during summer months (April to September, inclusive). Please get in touch with host to see if exceptions can be made outside this period. Children: We welcome babes-in-arms and children over seven and can provide baby basics (incl. travel cot, high chair etc). Unfortunately due to various hazards (incl. a hot tub, unguarded wood stove, steep stairs etc.), the property is not suitable for toddlers and young children. Dogs: One well-behaved, house-trained, non-shedding dog is welcome per stay, but we’d kindly ask that you adhere to the general “Dog Guidelines” as outlined in the welcome package at the cottage. Complimentary Bramley’s Digby Dog Wash, as well as dog towels and treats are provided. Property Features: As this is a historic property dating back to the mid to late 1800s, please note that there are several low doorways in the cottage (including the main kitchen entrance) as well as narrow, winding stairs. Please do take extra care through the doors and on the stairs as we cannot be responsible for any personal injury. Please contact the host ahead of booking. We live locally in the village and can be flexible to accommodate any specific requests or answer any questions.
