Off street parking for up to 8 cars. Host family lives on other side of house sealed off from guests with their own separate entrance & living space like a duplex/twin home. The space Large house on the mainline with close access to many of the local college/university's in the area. With a basement game room equipped with a pool table, ping pong table, and card table as well as a pool in the summer months makes this a great getaway with friends or family. Only 2.2 miles from Aronimink Golf course (7 minute drive). Only 35-45 minute drive to downtown Philadelphia. The pool is open until October 30th. There is also a carriage house on property that is rented out to Airbnb but this listing is for renting the main house. The rear of the property is surrounded by woods so you feel like you are in a remote location but you are only a short 7 minute drive to mainline towns filled with restaurants, pubs, and shops. The house sleeps 11 in 4 bedrooms with 7 beds. Besides the bedrooms, the guests enjoy a large basement game room with pool table and ping pong table top, card room area, a large living room, dining room, sun room and kitchen of their own. Pets welcome only if kept in crates when inside or you can leave them in the sun room to roam or on leash outside. The host lives on the other side of the house which is sealed off from the main house and has it's own entrance so guests have privacy of the main house and pool to themselves. The host can not see the pool and does not use the pool which is for guest only. If your intention is to have a loud music blasting drunken pool party this is not the home for you, but if you want to relax and enjoy a quiet time with friends around a pool and grilling, then we welcome you here. Township outside quiet hours from 9PM to 8AM strictly enforced by the township. Basement game room is a great place to play loud music and hang with friends. During summer time lawn and pool care will be taken care of by host but no access to main house is needed so complete privacy for the guests. No loud blasting music allowed anytime outside as this is not that type of neighborhood and township enfources quiet hours from 9PM-8AM so low music outside after 9PM, no music outside after 11pm to respect the neighbors sleeping. Normal quiet conversation and laughter around the pool at night is fine, and please go inside the house if you wish to play music loudly or be louder. Loud music inside the house at anytime is completely fine and does not bother the host. Guest access The house has two wings, one wing the host lives in. It is like a duplex or twin home. You privately rent one half with no access to the other half. The guests have their own private front door entrance to the main part of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, game room, sun room and 4 bedrooms - one bedroom sleeps 3 people, another sleeps 3 people and two bedrooms sleep 2 people (10 people total). The basement game room has a pool table with a removeable ping pong table, a card table, darts and a 70 inch screen TV. Please note ONLY those listed on the reservation are allowed on the property or in the house. There is the left wing to the house with doors locked on both sides so guests and host can not enter each other spaces, keeping them separate and private. Host has their own separate entrance to their side of the house, the host can not see the pool which is private for guest use only. You may be able to hear the hosts TV when in the kitchen. No access to garage, and 2 rooms that will be locked on guest side of house and a few closets that are locked. Host family keeps completely to their side of house so guest have complete privacy, it is like a duplex or twin home. You may play music loudly inside the house as it does not disturb the host. You may run into host in the large parking area or driveway. Guests can fit up to 5/6 cars in main driveway and additional parking on side of house still very private away from the main road. The carriage house on the grounds is also an airbnb rental so you may encounter them in the driveway/parking other guests coming and going from the carriage house or see/hear them on their patio. When driving up the driveway anyone may see a side of the back yard but not able to see the pool itself as it is up on a hill. Other things to note Pets welcome, but not allowed to roam house alone. No additioanl guests allowed on the property, only those listed on the reservation are allowed on and in the property even if not staying over night, unless otherwise prearranged with the host. Outside Quiet hours from 9PM to 8AM no loud music by the pool after 9PM No smoking inside the house and no smoking inside the sunroom. Please smoke outside in the open air by the pool. There is a fire pit with a screen top, no open fires allowed by township. There is a washer/drier on second floor. Pool available in the summer - June thru September (not a heated pool).
