Centrally located and close to Mount Pleasant shopping centre and public transport, our self-contained granny flat (attached to house) is perfect for a holiday, stopover or business trip. We are situated on a big suburban block (1100sqm) with lots of lovely garden space. Lay back in a hammock under the shady trees, or lounge beside the pool. We are happy to give you privacy or share a cuppa and chat. The space Our place, known as "Glenella House," is one of the original houses in the Glenella area. We are centrally located, being 15 minutes to a number of beaches (including off-leash), 10 minutes to the city, with Mount Pleasant and a range of takeaway/restaurants very close by. As the family that lived here previously expanded, so did the home! The extension that we've transformed into an AirBnB has its own bathroom and toilet, kitchenette, fridge, a queen bed (sleeps 2) and a futon (king single size - sleeps 1, or maybe 2 small kids). We can also add a single mattress on the floor if needed. Outside, we have a large shady yard, a veggie garden and a cute crew of chickens. We have 3 separate sections of yard, so are able to keep the furry and feathered friends separated if need be. The space has a split system air conditioner to keep you cool 😎 Guest access Guests have their own kitchenette (with microwave and benchtop oven/stove), bathroom and toilet for private use. There is a shared laundry available (washer and dryer). Outside, there is a large shared patio and pool area that guests are able to access. There is off-street parking available. Other things to note We have tea, coffee and hot chocolate available free of charge. We offer breakfast packs (hot/cold/both) upon request for an extra charge.
