Originally built as a grand summer home, Wildwood was converted to an Inn in 1950 and has been a vibrant part of the community ever since. Events may be help by special arrangement, please inquire. Wildwood is a beautiful, spacious home with 7 private bedrooms to choose from. Room 1: Full bed with private bath in hall. Room 2: Queen bed, en-suite bath and a cozy electric fireplace, sunset and mountain views. Room 3: Queen bed, en-suite bath, patio view. Room 4: Queen bed, ensuite bath, attached sleeping porch with two twin beds. Perfect for families. Room 5: King bed, en-suite bath, long western view. Room 6: King bed, en-suite bath, two twin beds. Long reaching northwestern vistas. Perfect for families. Room 7: Queen bed, en-suite bath, dressing area, woodsy view. All beds are made with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and luxury goose down duvets. Electric throws are provided for a little extra warmth. Breakfast is served every day. In addition to your private room, guests are welcome to enjoy all of the beautifully decorated public spaces on the first floor. There is a large yet cozy Great Room, with a wood burning fireplace, TV and a classic game table for cards or dominoes. Breakfast is served in the beautiful and gracious Dining Room, while the Music Room provides another seating area around a fireplace. In the warmer months the Breakfast Room is lovely for dining or relaxing in the sun. Outdoors we have almost 3 acres of patios, lawn and woods for exploration (and the occasional bear sighting!). There's a firepit for smores and stories by the fire. I live at Wildwood in private quarters and am often at home. You can call or text me any time. Norfolk is a wonderful place to visit! In the summer the hills really are alive with the sound of music coming from either the Yale Summer School, a quick and easy walk from Wildwood, or Infinity Hall, another easy walk away.
