The house offers a three season screened-in porch that leads into an open concept living room/kitchen with vaulted ceilings. Work from home with an office setup and fast wifi, then take a 10 minute bike ride to three of the best beaches in RI. Want to go out? Take a short drive to Narragansett, Wakefield, Westerly, or casinos before retiring to your cozy bed and blackout shades. The space The "Beach House" is located less than 5 minutes south of Route 1, the major highway through South County. You'll be staying in the upper level/apartment of a two-family dwelling. The house is on a quiet side street with minimal vehicle traffic, but plenty of walkers and cyclists. The neighborhood is split 50/50 families and beach renters, so no matter your mission you will be in great company. The space is the entire upstairs portion of the house; the owner resides in the basement in-law. The space sits elevated giving you a great view of the world going by while offering you an extra layer of privacy. The interior is all recently updated with waterproof floors to stand up the the rigors of beach wears but still making you feel like you're in a cozy beach chalet. The main attraction is the three season screened in porch. At nearly 300 square feet, you'll have plenty of room for you entire group. In addition, the porch has outdoor speakers that are voice controlled by Alexa for the ultimate outdoor enjoyment. The attached deck has a 4 burner grill to cook up a delicious meal. The porch gives way to the main open concept living spaces with vaulted ceilings allowing for a natural flow of the space. Converse with the folks in the living room while cooking up a meal and watching TV so you never miss a moment. Plus, open the main door to the porch to enjoy fresh air without having to worry about bugs. When it's time to retire for the night, enjoy a king or queen memory foam mattress and blackout shades. In the morning, slide open the back deck door for some fresh beach air. If you're looking to work remote, utilize the office setup to get some work done. Our wifi is incredibly fast so you can handle as much streaming and work as you please. There's two options to rinse away the day; the full bathroom with a tub/shower or the massive outdoor shower with rainfall shower head. The quaint backyard has a simple fire pit and chairs that are lit by soft patio lights for the perfect way to wind down your days. You'll enjoy two parking spots in the gravel driveway. Guest access Feel free to make yourself at home in your room. We have a screened-in deck that you are welcome to use. We also have an outdoor shower that you can use. There is a fire pit with chairs in the back yard. You may also use the grill on the deck.
