The Iron City Heritage House is located one block from the Iron Ore Heritage trail, Snowmobile trail, and the Orv trail connecting to trails in the UP. Three blocks from the Michigame basin and river for fishing and swimming. The house is settled in the heart of the Upper Penninsula. 45 min. from Marquette MI, and 45 min. from Iron Mountain, MI. A great location for all things UP and outdoors. The space Iron City Heritage House is a three bedroom historical mining house located at the base of an ore bluff and three blocks from the Michigame basin in Republic, Michigan. The Iron Ore Heritage trail, bike trail, snowmobile trail and orv trail is just across the road . This three bedroom house has one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. The upstairs steps are steep as is common in mining homes. The downstairs bedroom has wide access with sliding barn doors. All doors are 32” except the bathroom which is 29”. There are no steps going into the house. We have a separate office for working and a convenient first floor laundry. The Iron City Heritage house has a fully stocked eat in kitchen with a coffee bar. The main floor bathroom has a double rain shower and jacuzzi tub. All four double beds and the queen bed are comfy with memory foam toppers and linens. There is a full private deck for outdoor dining and lounging with patio dinnerware and grill. The yard has a fire pit for enjoying the outdoors in the evening. The house also has two adjacent lots for convenient trailer parking. One outdoor entrance camera for parking. Guest access Guest have access to the entire house, with two additional lots for parking. Access to groceries are limited. Maki’s Mini Mart and Peter’s hardware. Small town quiet 3 three blocks from The Michigame River Basin, 1 mile from the swimming beach and boat dock. Other things to note Republic has a mini mart, Summerplace Restaurant, and Pine Grove Bar. Three miles South in South Republic is Peter’s hardware (gas and convenience store). Groceries are limited. Small town area. Two extra amenities: 4 qt crock pot, boot dryer. One mile from the swimming beach and boat dock.
