On one side of the bedroom space, the French doors lead out onto the Juliet balcony which affords views across roof tops of the adjacent chateau-styled house and the black and white timbers of Old House. Stepping up to Velux windows, the views take the eye down the the sloping gardens to the River Weaver beyond. The green faux velvet chairs to sit in front of the Smart TV - perfect for watching a movie with your beloved after a day of adventuring in the surrounding countryside Guest access The owners of this Cheshire wonder have thought of absolutely everything, including how to delicately sit their high-end Loft suite against the backdrop of a typical English countryside rural idyll. Everything about this suite is wonderful, from the structure itself, to the surrounding gardens and river frontage. This is a place to relax and be in the moment, whilst being at one with nature. You'll even spot the owners taking in the views across the lawns from time to time! We believe that once you've experienced the fresh air, the evenings sat on the jetty watching the Kingfishers swooping past, or the elegant swans gliding through the water, followed by a resplendent, restful night's sleep, you won't want to leave. And on a lovely balmy evening, why not take your glass of fizz outside to the hot tub, or take advantage of the lovely Adirondack seating overlooking the jetty area, or toast some marshmallows on the fire pit? The owners provide some wood to get you started. Follow the golden hoggin path beyond the lower lawn to the Retreat summerhouse perched above the River Weaver below, sitting resplendent with its own verandah area, but nothing is quite so impressive as the craftsmanship in the overlooking structure of the magnificent elegant historic double arched 17th century stone bridge. The Locality The village of Church Minshull is a quaint, typical Cheshire village, with many chocolate box black and white cottages at its centre. The village hosts The Badger Inn which has earned a wide ranging reputation as a destination pub, with diners coming from far afield to enjoy its food and ambience of its timbered beams, log fires and beer garden. The drive towards Old House and the Loft suite, unfolds the beauty of the surrounding area before you've even seen the house itself. Other things to note Guest access: Use of the gardens, hot tub, Retreat summerhouse, fire pit and jetty areas is allowed for guests - the display of Spring colours in the gardens from March onwards is something to behold. You will have access to the entire Loft suite and grounds during your stay.
