🌲 Custom Container Cabin | Skykomish River & Mountain Retreat Escape to your own quiet sanctuary in this custom-remodeled shipping container, beautifully nestled within a grove of hundred-year-old pine trees. While we carry a Monroe address, the cabin sits on a peaceful vantage point overlooking Sultan—putting you right at the doorstep of the Cascades and the stunning Skykomish River valley. The space 🛏️ The Space: Wake Up in the Trees The cabin was custom-built to showcase our beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery. A View from Bed: We designed the bedroom with a unique, elevated King-size bed that rests perfectly just under a large picture window. Simply pull back the curtains to wake up to the forest. Wildlife Watching: Keep your eyes peeled! Many mornings you will see our local deer grazing just outside. In the spring and summer months, you might even spot their fawns. Note on Accessibility: The luxurious King bed is uniquely raised like a loft bed and requires a step for access. ✨ The Highlights: The Backyard Oasis: Enjoy a large private yard featuring a beautiful deck with seating, a cozy firepit, and an outdoor kitchen perfect for dining with a forest view. Prime Location: Just 36 miles to Stevens Pass and minutes from iconic Highway 2 hiking trails. River Access & Recreation: Head down the hill and you are just minutes away from a local park with a playground, soccer fields, and scenic trails that lead straight down to the waters of the Skykomish River. Guest access 🌳 Guest Access & Privacy The cabin is located on a stunning, wooded property of just over 8 acres, and we have opened up more than half of the acreage exclusively for our guests to explore and enjoy! Our Boundary: To maintain privacy for both you and our family, we just kindly ask that you do not wander past the orange flag markers towards our main home. Other things to note 📝 Other Details to Note: The Property Layout: Please note that there are two nearly identical custom cabins on this 8-acre property, spaced about 50 feet apart. They share the expansive acreage but have their own distinct spaces. Traveling with friends or family? You can book both cabins together! Check out our separate combined listing for availability. Spa-Style Attached Bathroom: The bathroom is attached to the cabin, located just outside the sliding glass door on our covered deck. To make this indoor-outdoor transition cozy and luxurious, we provide full-length, plush bathrobes for your use during your stay! Pets Welcome (Free!): We love furry co-pilots! We welcome pets under 40 lbs, and we currently do not charge an extra pet fee.
