A beautiful, cosy and quirky barn conversion in the South Lake District. Spacious open plan kitchen-diner/ sitting room with views into private garden and the open countryside beyond. Large wood burner. River and woodland walks from the doorstep. Large bedroom with king bed and en-suite. Close to the thriving village of Staveley with shops, bakery, cafes, pubs, bike shop, butchers, spar and gelato shop. 15 minutes drive to Windermere, 10 minutes drive to central Kendal and it's amenities. The space Hagg Foot Barn is a single storey barn conversion with a private, south facing, dog-proof garden. The spacious open plan kitchen-diner/ sitting room has views into the private garden and the open countryside beyond. The kitchen has an oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer and cupboards with plenty of cutlery, utensils, crockery and cookware. The sitting area has a comfortable 3 seater sofa and an armchair and a large woodburning stove. There's a large oak dining table and 4 chairs. The bedroom has a king size bed, bedside table and chest of drawers for clothes storage. There's plenty of space for a cot, we provide a travel cot. Bedding for the king size bed is provided and 2 large and 2 small towels. The en suite has a large shower, toilet, sink unit and heated towel rail. There's a small utility room with washing machine and space to dry clothes. The garden has beautiful views into the surrounding countryside, well stocked borders, a lawned area, a bike shed and a sandstone patio with table and chairs. Guest access Hagg Foot Barn and it's private, enclosed garden is solely for guest use. Off road parking for one car is just outside. There's a bike shed in the garden with padlock. Other things to note Guests are welcome to bring a baby/ young child. We provide a travel cot and high chair.
