Mahogany Cottage on peaceful Tree Trust Farm

The Tree Trust Farm is a beautiful 200 hectare self-sufficient working farm, close to the town of Heidelberg, and only 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg. Expect to be surrounded by exquisite hills, hiking trails, an array of farm animals, and magnificent sunsets! Mahogany Cottage sleeps five people and is uniquely situated in its own fenced in paddock. You have full access to the farm including hiking trails, braai facilities, swimming pool, Saloon area and games room. The space This lovely cabin sleeps five people in two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds. There is space for a fifth person on a comfortable sleeper couch (bedding provided). It has a well-appointed kitchen with a fridge/freezer, stove/oven, air fryer, microwave, toaster and crockery and cutlery. There is an open plan dining table and lounge. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is a portable Cadac gas cooker for loadshedding and a battery-powered rechargeable light in the unit, which also charges cellphones. There is a verandah and seating in your paddock. Here you can sit and enjoy being in the heart of the farm with views of the fields with our horses. In close proximity is a large swimming pool, games room, braai areas and lots of outdoor seating spaces. Feel free to explore the farm on foot or on horseback (by pre-arrangement), climb a hill and enjoy the sunset or swim in the dam in summer! We also host a 5km Park Run each Saturday - feel free to join at a walk or a run! You can also walk the route any other day of the week. There is secure parking for your car. There is laundry access if needed. This is the perfect getaway retreat for solo travellers, families and groups of friends. There are multiple shared facilities to enjoy on the farm including the swimming pool, our Saloon socialising area with braai and firepit, and a games room with full sized pool table, darts and board games. Take walks on the farm and enjoy seeing all the farm animals you will pass along the way! Horse riding can be arranged with prior request. Other things to note 1. BRINGING A DOG OR OTHER PET There are multiple free-range animals on the farm including chickens, rabbits, pigs, cows and horses. While we are pet friendly, your pet will please be expected to be on a lead when in the public areas and exploring the farm. The space is best suited to well socialised animals. 2.
