The space The property features a spacious house of mixed construction, with solid walls and wooden ceilings, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxing in the Ecuadorian highlands. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests. The social areas include a cozy living room with an indoor wood-burning fireplace, as well as an electric heater, providing a comfortable stay during cooler nights. The fully equipped kitchen is complemented by a large BBQ area and a traditional wood-fired oven, perfect for outdoor meals and shared moments. This is a self-sustainable countryside retreat, with its own organic production and traditional farm animals (guinea pigs, chickens, sheep, and goats), offering guests an authentic rural Andean experience. Surrounded by nature and open mountain views, it is a peaceful and safe place to unwind. Its location makes it an excellent base for day trips to Cotopaxi National Park and Quilotoa Lagoon, as well as for exploring the local culture of Latacunga and nearby communities. Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to the house and to the outdoor areas designated for guest use. This includes the bedrooms with private bathrooms, living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, relaxation areas, BBQ space, wood-fired oven, and the open spaces of the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and surrounding natural areas. The organic farm and animal areas are part of the rural setting and may be observed; direct access is available only when accompanied by the host, for safety reasons. Private on-site parking is available exclusively for guests during their stay Other things to note Upon request, we can recommend qualified local guides to organize visits to Cotopaxi National Park and Quilotoa Lagoon, experienced in assisting international travelers. Additionally, with prior request, it is possible to arrange optional meal services featuring traditional regional dishes, such as roasted guinea pig (cuy), prepared in a traditional way using local, organic ingredients. These services are optional and can be coordinated directly during the stay.
