Our Farm Stay is one of its kind organic farms in North India, where we offer a comfortable stay in the lap of a 5 acre organic farm, with varied crops, birds, stars and trees, and the backdrop of Aravali Hills. It's less than 50 kms from Gurugram, approx 90 mins from Delhi, quaint, pure, beautiful, detoxed, simple, yet Uber comfortable. It's not a hotel, its natural, it’s rustic. It's a REAL farm with agriculture and sustainability practices, learnt and shared. Enjoy the sounds of nature! The space PLEASE READ TILL THE END: It's a 5 acre organic farm, PET FRIENDLY, restored and regenerated by one of the prominent environmental groups of India - Swechha. The landscape had NOT A SINGLE TREE a year ago, a barren piece of land, and now it boasts of over two thousand trees, many/most native, a paradise for birds and local animals, and a functional farm land where we practice different forms of agriculture and sustainability. Currently we have vegetable farms, Amla orchard, vermi composting lab, a mini-poultry, a butterfly garden, a dairy farm, a native nursery, and varied sustainability experiments. In collaboration with Swechha, one of the leading not-for-profits working on sustainability in India, we are developing a farm school, for people to learn various aspects of agriculture and sustainability, develop prototypes and practices, engage citizens at large with farming and future lifestyle. While you stay here, you can choose to stay in your mudhouse and listen to the birds chirping outside, or chose to walk around the farm amidst peacocks, parrots and kingfishers. You can spend time volunteering at the farm, lending a hand to whatever activity is going on that particular day - sowing, harvesting, composting, honey keeping, or just pulling out grass from our vegetable beds. Some points to remember while you make the decision to embark on this journey, of staying at our Farm: -Being an agricultural area, electricity supply can be erratic. You won't be left in dark, as we have an inverter power back up, but still! -Food on the farm is cooked with locally grown ingredients and supplies, mostly from our farm. -Food is charged extra. Breakfast Rs.300/- Lunch Rs.375/- and dinner Rs.375/- per person and tea is served twice a day. -If you wish to carry your own food or cook yourself, you are more than welcome. We have a fully functional kitchen. -Please take snacks and cold drinks etc as the nearest shop is a couple of kilometers away. -Our water supply is the underground water which we filter for drinking. You may want carry some mineral water bottles...just in case. -We do not have television or internet Wi-Fi on the farm, Jio network works the best. - BYOB, Consumption of alcohol is not a problem as long as guests remain responsible. There is scrabble, bingo etc to play with family. Some books as well...but you may want to take your own. WHEN YOU SEND A BOOKING REQUEST PLEASE CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ THE ABOVE AND WISH TO EXPERIENCE A REAL FARM-STAY. We shall then clear your booking request. We are a pet-friendly accomodation, although there is an additional charge of Rs 500 per pet, per night. Also please carry the dog food and bowl etc. We will provide you the comfort of a beautiful stay, but don't expect a 5-star safari stay. If you or your kids want a peaceful stay, with nature, with cows, bees, birds, buffalos, goats, chicken and more, this is IT.
