Indian Creek Lodge is located in the historic district of downtown Corydon. Our house is newly renovated with all new appliances while also keeping the charm of a circa 1910 house. This property features a newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen, a full dining room, a living room with an original fireplace, and a sitting room any family would enjoy. You can awake in our cozy sunroom with your morning coffee. Step back in time and enjoy our period antiques and relax in our cozy neighborhood. The space Our quaint little house is situated in a quiet neighborhood where all the neighbors know each other. We are a short walk (three blocks) from historic downtown Corydon which boasts antique shops, wine shops, restraunts, coffee shops, and an ice cream shop. Take a stroll around the town square and check out Indiana's first state capital building. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of the attic and storage closets. The enclosed backyard includes a firepit and there are games available such as a corn hole and yard darts. There is also a basketball goal right outside the fence on our property that the kids (or adults) can use. Lots of things to keep the kids busy. Relax on the double seated swing or enjoy the raised flower beds filled with flowers and vegetables. Other things to note Historic Corydon is home to Indiana's first state Capital and is well known as one of the only Civil War battles fought on northern soil. The town boasts wineries, an ice cream shop, an art glass company, public golf course, 3 nearby caverns with tours, walking trails, state parks, antique stores, a movie theater, and a nearby casino, just to name a few. A short trip to Louisville (30 miles), offers Kentucky Kingdom, the Muhammad Ali Center, a science museum, Thunder Over Louisville, and the world famous Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.
