Kabini RathnaPrabha farm’s Peacock Room

Just 10 minutes from Kakanakote wildlife safari ticket counter, on the Kabini backwaters being a part of the RathnaPrabha farm, it’s a peaceful and homely getaway most importantly light on the pockets, with the backwaters view from inside the room. The Peacock room is unique, a large room with a kitchenette on the first floor of the RathnaPrabha farmhouse. The space Peacock room is a large independent room on the first floor with a view of the Kabini backwaters and a kitchenette within. Guest access The stairs from outside lead to the first floor where this room is, has a shared balcony and a terrace. Peacock room has the backwaters view from within the room. During your stay Somesh is the guests assistant during the day for all interactions and assistance for your stay, he is fluent in Kannada and can manage Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and English. Swetha is our cook available only during the day and Rathnamma is the caretaker who lives in the premises. Other things to note This farmhouse is the perfect place for wonderful family time. *Consider it to be a home away from home.* *It’s a self help property, thus would not have any kind of room services, the guests are expected to keep back the house or the occupied rooms in the same order and we have a “leave no foot prints” policy.* Swetha is our cook who prepares simple local south veg food only in the ground floor house on pre request at a nominal cost, Lunch or Dinner Rs.150 and Breakfast Rs.100, tea/coffee, snacks or salad charged accordingly. Somesh is our guests assistant and would be the one point of contact, he is available at the farm only during the day. They mainly speak Kannada and make honest efforts to communicate. Request you to have patience and be polite. Tipping them would be generous and appreciated.
