Unique and Spacious Home in Center, Villa District

This is a real home, not just any Airbnb. We designed it for our family, loved to live in it, and now that we live abroad its available for you to rent. Stay in the villa quarter of Budapest just one street away from Heroes Square. Subway one street away taking you to the heart of the city in 5 mins. Situated on the top floor of a 19th-century house: expect bright spaces and lots of air. The apartment is huge and elegant with tons of charm. The space An apartment with soul, designed by us. We fell in love with our apartment because of the huge spaces: the living room and the adjacent bedroom is 60 sqm and the 3.5m high-ceiling makes it elegant and airy. Our whole apartment feels as one large space thanks to the huge 19th-century doors connecting the rooms. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to feel at home in complete comfort. Highlights include a well-equipped kitchen, a water filter system for pristine drinking water, a HIFI system with an amplifier connected to a large smart TV, and an oversized lounge sofa for relaxation. In the bedroom, there is a huge bed with a very comfortable mattress, goose down duvet, and pillows, as well as ample storage space in built-in wardrobes. We purchased our apartment a few years ago and started to redesign it with lots of attention to the smallest details. We wanted to fuse the romantic charm with modern, loft style character and tried to incorporate as much from the original elements as possible. We restored the original oak parquet with a rustic finish to complement the exposed brick walls - showing the original building blocks of the house. We picked classic and industrial elements to complement each other. We added unique midcentury-furniture to complement the space. The crown gem of our apartment is the 10 sqm terrace opening from the bedroom. It's a perfect place for a relaxed read, for a breakfast, or glass of wine in the evening. As the apartment is on the top of the building you can enjoy the sun throughout the whole day on the terrace. We have A/C for the summer. The 90-square-meter apartment has 2 large rooms (a master bedroom with a king size bed and a living room) and is suitable for 2 adults. If you have kids we can add an air mattress to accommodate them. We have a well-equipped kitchen, with electric grill, blender etc. if you want to cook yourself. Our apartment is situated on the top floor of a 19th-century residential house originally built for the aristocracy and upper-class, commissioned by a rich brick factory magnate. Our apartment looks at a garden which makes it quiet, but as it is on the top floor with large windows you can expect bright spaces and lots of air. Our apartment is on the 3rd floor and the house has no elevator as it is from the 19th century. Guest access The whole apartment is yours to use. Other things to note The photos you see are very real, simply taken with an iPhone. What you see is what you get. Actually, some rooms might look even better as we have added more decoration to them! :) For longer stays, mandatory biweekly cleanings are scheduled to help keep the home in great condition.
