Located within minutes of hiking, biking, skiing & more, this family-friendly 4BR house is perfect for your mountain getaway. Close to shops, restaurants, and everything the beautiful Catskills have to offer. Tops grocery store is conveniently located across the street. -3 miles to Hunter Mountain -5 miles to Kaaterskill Falls, North-South Lake & Colgate Lake -14 miles to Windham -1 mile to synagogue & Methodist church Dogs welcome! Sorry, no cats or other animals. The space Please note that this is a 100+ year old house! You should expect the charm and quirks that come with a century home: some creaky floors, bedrooms without closets, older fixtures, etc. The downstairs living space features a full kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom with a stall shower and washer/dryer. The kitchen is equipped with the cooking basics: pots and pans, baking sheets, utensils, a crockpot, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. We have a Keurig coffee maker and provide coffee pods and various sweeteners. Upstairs, you'll find four cozy bedrooms and another full bath, which has a shower and bathtub. Bedroom 4 is great for kids, with two full-size beds, a crib and a rocking chair. In the warmer months, a large outdoor deck with a patio table and propane grill is the perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail or a casual outdoor dinner. During the summer, every bedroom has a window A/C unit. Parents: we have a crib, a pack & play and a safety gate which can be placed at the top of the stairs. Just let us know before your stay if you would like us to make them available! Guest access You'll have the entire place to yourself with the exception of the locked basement, which is used for storage. Other things to note Dogs are welcome! We allow up to two well-behaved pups for a flat fee of $50 per stay. This covers additional cleaning and helps offset the cost of incidentals that can happen with furry family members. Please be advised the house is on a main road and does not have a fenced-in yard, so it's not a good spot for dogs to run freely outside. Sorry, no cats or other animals.
