This cozy studio is a place to rest an rejuvinate after a day of adventure or reflection. The small dining table expands to become a full circle work or game table. High speed WIFI is there to make sure you can stay connected. Sink into the recliner and gaze through the picture window. Wake up to an eastern view over the water/muddy Gallagher Cove. The kitchenette is ready with kitchen sink, keurig coffe maker, toaster oven, microwave, instantpot and portable induction burner. Find dishes, pots and pans ready and waiting. Enjoy the patio, cabana, and [mud] beach access. Bring your tennis shoes. Bring your ‘mud’ ready water shoes or sandals. Explore the property and find paths between maples, douglas fir, cedars, ferns, evergreen huckleberry and salal. Beware of BUSHY areas, where poison oak grows. Just stay on the paths, and you’ll be fine. Be ready for stairs and gravel, and uneven footing as is common in the wild, while exploring outdoors . Just off the exit there’s a small grocery, gas station, coffee stand, bar and food truck. We are about 1.5 miles away from Steamboat Island Store. On the drive here, you will likely see bay views, tall trees and Oregon oak growing in prairies. If you feel most comfortable with chain restaurants and retail, they are a short drive away to Capitol mall. We have a few favorites in the area, Phone service is limited to non-existent on this property. We rely on ‘wifi’ calling. This is a feature option on most phones…. This studio has a well water supply and is on a septic tank.
