The chalet is near the main building where you can find two HEATED SWIMMING POOL (closed from October to May), a spa, two SAUNA and BILLIARD. At the back of the chalet is the start of a beautiful footpath that runs along a stream. Nearby you can do several activities. Other things to note This chalet is located in the Domaine du Grand-Porneuf, which also features other chalets in a natural setting and offers superb amenities: heated in-ground pools, a main pavilion with a pool table, a huge spa, two saunas, two children's play structures, and a walking trail along the stream. Main sporting activities in the region: - Walking path adjacent to the chalet grounds, where you can walk along a stream and its cascades. Come and enjoy your picnic at the various stopping points. - GOLF Le Grand Portneuf 2 minutes away, with these 3x 9-hole courses through the hills, forests and waterways. - Dansereau Outdoor Center 7 minutes away for cycling there for 30km round trip from Pont-Rouge to Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier. Gravel trail accessible to all and along the Jacques-Cartier River from beginning to end, as well as 8 km of hiking trails. In winter, you can go snowshoeing and 33 km of cross-country ski trails with 2 heated relays and a waxing room at the reception. RENTAL of equipment possible. - The SKI resort of Saint-Raymond is only 17 minutes away. Small ski center ALPIN well maintained by the municipality, ideal to learn to do this sport. - The Duchesnay tourist resort (SÉPAQ) is 18 minutes away. You will also find 80km of trails for hiking and snowshoeing, 17.5km of river descent in calm water by KAYAK or CANOT, several CANYONING sites and a ViA FERRATA course. - In the town of Pont-Rouge, you will find plenty of parks for children, a PUMPTRACK and a SKATEPARK. - SNOWMOBILE and ATV enthusiasts, there are trails less than 5 minutes away. All the essentials are nearby within 10 minutes: grocery store, restaurants, pharmacies and a spectacle/event hall at Le Moulin Marcoux.
