This riverside retreat with majestic mountain views is right on the Hiwasee River! The spacious home is primely located in Delano, TN, a mile from Gee Creek, five miles from Etowah, a half-hour from Cleveland and Ocoee River rafting, and less than an hour from Chattanooga. You can trout fish or raft/kayak from the backyard. You can easily visit the nearby campgrounds and park, Amish Market, and take in all that the Gee Creek area has to offer. With a chef kitchen, double-sided gas fireplace, spacious living room, sunroom overlooking the mountain views, back patio, and four bedrooms on property, this house is ideal for family and friend gatherings. The outside of the house is simply amazing as it has 1.2 acres that include your own private riverside area. There is a covered porch overlooking the river where you can sit and enjoy the majestic mountain views. In the main house are three bedrooms. Two of these have spacious en suite bathrooms while the third bedroom has a half-bath in the hall area. All bedrooms have queen size beds. You will find a fourth bedroom in a private apartment above the garage. There is a private entrance to this space. This apartment has a queen bed, futon, and small table. It also has a full bathroom. This home sleeps 8, but can sleep 10 if the futon is used. Guests will be able to access the entire home. The smaller house is not available to rent, however, you can use the back porch of the bunk house and the fire pit. You will not be able to pull your vehicles in the garage. But there is plenty of parking space outside. I will give my guests space but will be available if there are issues or you need information about the house or the area. This home is located in a small subdivision in Delano. The house is less than a mile from the entrance to the Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park at Gee Creek. This park boasts acres of wilderness in the Cherokee National Forest. In addition to the campgrounds a large public park is at the riverside site. This area is well-known for outdoor enthusiasts: trout fishing, rock climbing, jeep exploring, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and hiking. If you are in town for the Hiwassee Rail Excursions you will find the house half a mile from the parking. Ocoee River Rafting is also nearby, as well as Wedding venues. The driveway holds 4 vehicles. You will need a car to get where you desire to go.
