A 120 m2 home in the middle of the historic and fertile Cilician planes. The orchard house is reached via a 25 minute (20km) drive from the city center. If you are tired of city life and you want to meditate and experience the tranquil life style of the land than this place is for you. This orchard is owned by my family and you are more than free to take long walks in this 178.000m2 private land with ample opportunities for photo sessions. A short interview is required for reservation approval. The space The rooms are spacious especially the bedroom itself feels almost like a studio apartment, The upper level contains a living room and fully equipped kitchen for cooking. There is two TV’s with international channels as well as Turkish channels. An upper enclosed and open terrace with superbly commanding views of the lemon orchard is located adjacent to the living room on the second level and is fully open for your personal use. While in the spaces one can feel how the rooms were carefully dimensioned by the architect and therefore spacious and comfortable. Both levels have air conditioning units and will be turned on prior to your arrival to accommodate an optimum temperature. The views are stunning from both levels and we believe that it definitely will have a meditative affect on our guests. Guest access Guest have full access to the 178.000m2 area of the lemon orchard, they are free to take long walks and photo sessions here in the orchard. However, access is not allowed to the restricted mechanical and electrical service rooms of the orchard. Please keep in mind that this is a working lemon orchard and that it is fully engaged in the agriculture business, therefore we expect our guests to respect our workers and not distract them from their jobs. Since the unit is adjacent to the head manager’s apartment of the orchard we kindly ask you to not make loud audible noises passed 23:00 in the evening. Other things to note About the architecture of the Lemon Orchard House in Cilicia: With two units; one for a full time staff member and his family, and one for the owner of the orchard and his family, enclosed parking garage for one car and two tractors, storage spaces for farming related equipments at ground level, public bathrooms and changing rooms for workers, a shared outdoor upper terrace and a private enclosed terrace with a shared wall containing a double sided fireplace (not yet installed), an enclosed guard Dog house under the northern outdoor staircase, and various extra storage spaces. All solved in a relatively small structure. The exterior aesthetics of the building is derived from a complete adherence to the philosophy of “form follows function”.
