Named after the constellation meaning 'the sails of a ship', Vela is one of the most private WanderPods on Kangaroo Island, and is the only 2 bedroom pod. Come together with friends and family as you watch the transformation from day to night over the distant horizon. Share a blanket, pour a glass of wine and tell stories under the stars. Vela is also our pet friendly WanderPod, if bringing a pet just let us know as there's a small additional cleaning fee. The space With its minimalist design, natural materials and floor to ceiling glass, everything about the WanderPod is designed to create connection to nature and to each other. The pods harvest solar energy and water, recycle greywater and each pod includes a Subpod composting bin and herb garden so you can keep your organic waste out of landfill and back into restoring the earth. The pod also features a luxurious king bed with Cultiver linen, a rain shower, indoor fire pit, and an outdoor stone bath.
