Welcome to the River Cottage, a peaceful place to relax and reset. Tucked along a secret little street and nestled against the bush, it offers privacy while still being close to everything. Enjoy the deck and outdoor bath with birdsong all around, or settle inside among the lovingly curated vintage pieces that give an old-world charm. 5 minutes from shops and 8 minutes to town, it is ideal mix of seclusion and convenience. Slow down, explore, and let the calm settle in as soon as you arrive. The space When first walking into the home, you are greeted with a gorgeous timber floored hallway, and your bedroom to the left. At the end is the dining room with a large family table, perfect for meals or playing provided boardgames together. The living room and sitting space are to the left, and has a two-seater lounge, perfect for snuggling in front of the fire, reading a book, or enjoying Netflix and WIFI. There are also two armchairs if you prefer more space when unwinding after a day of exploring in the sun. The kitchen is to the right of the dining room. It is fully equipped for cooking just about any meal, as well as tea and a coffee plunger. Walking outside to the decking, you will find an outdoor dining space, a BBQ, and a large outdoor umbrella available for those warm summer days. Around the corner, you will be welcomed with a stand-alone bath, plumbed for hot and cold water and perfect for relaxing while watching the birdlife in the secluded backyard. Guest access Guests have access to all areas inside the home apart from the storage room, and the onsite garden shed. The access to the boat ramp is at high tide only. Other things to note The cottage is perfectly private, surrounded by water and bush. However, with this stunning setting does come the mosquito aspect of nature. To combat mosquitos and other flying insects, the home has been installed with an automatic bug spraying system outside the home. This is an all-natural product that will automatically spay for 15 seconds at different times of the day. It is fine to be outside when this happens, and nothing is required from the guests to do.
