Set in the old town neighborhood of Nederland, The Cabin with the Yellow Door is a recently renovated 600 sq ft mining cabin built in 1917. It's a place to relax after a day in the mountains, to laze around by the fireplace or to serve as basecamp with activities for every season out the front door. Eldora is a 9 minute drive, the bars and restaurants of Nederland are a 1/2 mile walk in one direction and the trails of Sugar Magnolia are a 1/2 mile away in the other. STR License: NED051 The space The cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and a lounging loft also with a queen sized bed for your relaxation. There is one bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower and also a washer and dryer. The kitchen and living area are the main part of the cabin and they are heated by a gas fireplace with temperature controls. During the summer, the outdoor patio is a great place to relax in the sunshine. There is a propane fire pit with a love seat as well as a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to store gear in a locked shed out back. A combination to a lock can be shared after booking. Other things to note The cabin is heated by a gas fireplace so parents of young children should be advised in advance. It is also not recommended that young children sleep in the loft area.
