Another highlight is a visit to the Solingen Industry Museum, where you can directly experience the history of the production of Solingen scissor models. You can also experience nature up close on a hike along the Wupper, to the Müngsten Bridge Park, to marvel at Germany's highest railway bridge during a game of mini golf. For all animal lovers, we have an absolute highlight in petto: how about a breakfast on an alpaca meadow? With a deliciously filled picnic basket, you can not only feast, but also watch the fluffy alpacas - guaranteed to be great fun for the whole family. You can combine a visit to Wuppertal Zoo with a subsequent tour on the famous Wuppertal suspension railway or visit the extraordinary sculpture park Waldfrieden. In the Oberberg district, a day trip to the open-air museum in Lindlar is worthwhile. Or visit the Aggertal cave Ründeroth in Engelskirchen, where you can marvel at millions of years old coral fossils. Even today, the 3.2 km long ascent between Wupperhof and Witzhelden is considered one of the most spectacular mountain sections. Afterwards, stop in at one of the quaint little restaurants in the historic old town. In the Cologne Chocolate Museum, you can create your own chocolate and actively experience the production of the fine delicacy from the bean to the bar. A great experience for the whole family is a day in the amusement park - Phantasialand near Brühl with its many themed areas and shows. Düsseldorf awaits you with its huge aquarium and the historic old town, which invites you to take a leisurely stroll. Then relax in one of the cafes on the Rhine promenade. Also worth seeing is a tour of the Medienhafen with the typical houses of the architect Frank O. Ghery.
