Traditional Tuscan Townhouse
Description
Located in the medieval hill-top Tuscan village of Chianni - surrounded by olive groves and vineyards - this 18th century stone built townhouse has been recently modernised throughout but with many features that retain the rustic character of the property. In addition, there is a separate private garden and parking space for 1 car, all less than a 5 minute walk from the village centre, where you will find café/bars, restaurants, mini market, bank, post-office and tourist information. The space Upon entering through the front door, the stairs directly ahead lead up to the first floor, whereupon you enter the lounge. This large room has an open fire, 2-seater sofa and 2 easy chairs, Smart TV and DVD player, occasional tables, lamps and a chest of drawers for more storage. Situated along from the lounge is a bathroom, containing an enclosed shower, toilet, sink and towel rail. Next to the bathroom is a twin-bedded bedroom with wardrobe, bedside cabinets each with a bedside lamp and a coat stand. The stairs from the lounge lead up to the second floor, where you will find a large kitchen/dining area with table, 4 chairs, small sofa and a kitchen island. From here there are double doors that lead out onto the balcony with furniture seating up to four people - ideal for ‘al fresco’ dining - and from which you can enjoy panoramic views of the Valdera landscape and the historic church of San Donato. Along the corridor there is a second bedroom with a large double bed, chest of drawers, space for hanging clothes and 2 bedside cabinets each with a bedside lamp. Directly opposite the bedroom is small bathroom with sink, toilet and towel rail. Guest access The car parking space lies approximately 15 metres from the front door of the property and is directly in front of the garage. To access the private garden, simply walk a few steps through the garage, whereupon you will see a patio area with relaxer chairs, large parasol and table. (These are stored in the garage when not in use). Other things to note Keys to the property are obtained via a keypad located next to the garage door. Other information regarding the property and the surrounding areas are provided in a folder as part of a Welcome Pack located in the kitchen. (This includes an emergency phone number of a local resident based in Chianni, who is contactable during your stay). There are recently installed mosquito screens for the double doors in the kitchen and all the windows (except one small window near the lounge). Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and fresh laundry is provided at the beginning of your stay (including towels). Registration Details IT050012C258I4A2R4
