Enid's Buoys is a luxury 1 bedroom / 2 bathroom cottage in the heart of Sheringham on North Norfolk's beautiful coast. With private off-road parking and just three minutes walk to the blue flag beach, the house was built in 1890 as a Fisherman’s cottage. Recently completely updated, and accommodating just two guests and a pet, this is a perfect holiday home for singles, couples and their dog and provides a relaxing and comfortable home away from home experience all year round. The space With a square bay window and centred around an original open, log burning, fire, the sitting room is furnished with two large leather sofas and Sanderson blinds and cushions to provide a cosy and comfortable place to watch TV, read or just relax during your stay. There is a Smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon TV and an Apple TV box. There is also a Roberts combined CD player / smart speaker and radio. On the other side of the central hallway is a large and wonderfully fitted kitchen diner with everything you need to do as little or as much self-catering as you want during your holiday. A integrated fridge-freezer, double oven, integrated dishwasher and washing machine provide all mod-cons and we’ve made sure to make your stay as comfortable as possible by supplying lots of cutlery, Cornishware crockery, glasses, cookware, pots and pans (we operate a “who wants to worry if there are enough clean cups or glasses while you are on holiday” policy!) Sounds are provided by either a retro Roberts radio or an Amazon Dot smart speaker. Pets also have their own specially designated doggie cupboard with food bowls, a treat jar and dog towels provided! Off the kitchen is the first of two shower rooms, this one with Travertine tiles and a very handy downstairs loo. A rear door provides access to the fully enclosed garden area with a grassed area and a patio with outdoor seating for two. Upstairs the tranquil and stylish master bedroom, in tones of green, blue and cream, provides a range of fitted wardrobe space and drawers and features an antique style king size bed with a deep and luxurious 1500 pocket sprung mattress. All luxury bed linen and hand and bath towels are provided and all our beds are furnished with hypo-allergenic 10.5 tog duvets, micro-fibre pillows and mattress and pillow protectors. For those who love to watch TV in bed, hidden behind two doors is a wall mounted TV / DVD with access to all terrestrial channels and Netflix. Off the bedroom is a en-suite, fully tiled shower room with a large rainhead style power- shower, sink and loo. This provides cupboard space, a large heated towel rail and a shaver / toothbrush socket. To the front of the house there is fully paved driveway for one-car and to the rear of the property is a small, fully fenced and secure garden area with an outdoor table and chairs. Guest access The cottage and the garden are all yours for the duration of your stay. Other things to note We allow up to one dog per trip. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in or on the property.
