Stunning location with all the amenities for a truly memorable fall or winter adventure. Snuggle by the fire, hike the woods, or read a book in the comfort of your tent. Please note that in the winter months steady attention to wood stove is essential! Loading wood is required every 4 hours and takes some skill but with patience is extremely rewarding and tent will stay an easy 70-80 degrees. Although there is also an electric heater, this is sufficient only down to freezing. The space The accommodations are basic. The tent is tightly sealed and features an excellent 8" foam queen mattress on raised frame. Floor is insulated and carpeted. Tent is tarped. An additional pavilion is included with covered table and BBQ. But other than roof, is open air so you must bring warm clothes! There is a toilet tent... but is also unheated. Guest access Guests have access to over 50 acres of wilderness hiking and to the direct waterfront at their campsite. Other things to note Winter camping is a unique experience -- especially in extreme cold or heavy snow. One of a kind experience! You must truly enjoy the company you bring -- because you will be seeing a lot of each other !
