The space Art Houses Sifnos – A Stone-Built Paradise in Apollonia At the top of a hill, in the traditional village of Apollonia on the island of Sifnos, painter and printmaker Kiki Voulgareli envisioned and created a stone-built paradise—an ever-evolving work of art nestled within the Cycladic landscape. In an amphitheatrical setting surrounded by old threshing floors, she restored a windmill, a dovecote, and the original houses and auxiliary buildings of a traditional estate. These were transformed into five autonomous, tastefully designed, and spacious residences, each with its own unique character and equipped with all modern comforts. In one of these homes, Kiki set up her art studio, where she spends much of her time drawing inspiration from the surrounding scenery. Traditional stone steps lead to courtyards that unfold across different levels around the residences, offering unobstructed views of the open horizon, the village of Apollonia, the surrounding mountains, and the fiery-red sunsets over Kamares. Pebbled corners, stone tables and built-in sofas surrounded by native plants create serene spots for reading, conversation, and quiet reflection under the sun and sky. Art Houses Sifnos offers free private parking, from which the stone steps begin, leading to the first residences of the complex. Zephyros – Two-Level Residence A two-level home connected by an internal staircase. Each level is fully equipped with a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. It can accommodate up to 4 guests in two double beds. Additionally, each level includes a sofa bed in the dining area that can host one more person. Upper Level: One bedroom with a double bed.
