The space can comfortably accommodate six guests and has it's own patio and outdoor seating area. Our "Backyard Bungalow" has received rave reviews from our guests over the past four years. The space is clean, charming and well-appointed with many designer touches. There is a common living space with two queen beds as well as a twin daybed with an additional twin trundle bed underneath - all of which are topped off with luxury linens. The bathroom includes granite countertops and custom cabinets and tile work. The kitchen also has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including a gas range, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave oven. There is a pantry and laundry room just off the kitchen with a large capacity washer and dryer, coffee maker, toaster oven, cooking and cleaning supplies and lots of storage. There is complimentary high-speed internet throughout the property, as well as a 4k smart TV with DirecTV service. Outside, there is a patio with an umbrella-table and seating for four. The bungalow (cottage) is it's own stand-alone building with its own private entrance and a private driveway for one vehicle. It is completely separate from the main house, yet both buildings sit on the large lot which is nearly 3/4 of an acre, and is adorned with several mature fruit trees (oranges, lemons, pears, peaches, satsumas, figs, pecans, kumquats, and more. It is truly a special place to make memories with your family and friends. We permanently reside in Louisiana about 45 minutes away, but we are in the neighborhood often. The property is situated in a quiet neighborhood among many historic residences. The ideal location is peaceful enough to sit and listen to the birds as you drink your morning coffee on the patio, yet only a few minutes away from the action in Old Town. A two-block walk from the property, past charming homes and historic estates will land you on the most beautiful and expansive powder-white sand beach in Bay St Louis. The heart of old town is a 15-minute walk or a 4-minute bike ride from the property. If you prefer to drive, it will take you less than 3 minutes to reach the center of Main Street. Uber and Lyft services are also available.
