We have a large beach, (the #1 spot on Chwk River for fishing). Ride your ATV directly out the gate onto unltd trails & logging roads, or kayak Class I - IV rapids. Our calm, gentle horses free range on the property. MIN. 2 NIGHTS ON WKENDS & 3 ON LONG WKENDS. YOU MUST READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE BOOKING! The space Beautiful, quiet & private 2 bedroom + den & sunroom with 3/4 acre manicured yard & a wheelchair ramp. There is a private deck off of the master bedroom, the sunroom is off of the den, & there’s a sundeck off of the living room as well as the kitchen. It has electric heat & there is a wood stove as well. We are blessed with spring water here, but if there are more than 3 people, you would have to be more careful with usage. Due to an unfenced, sharp drop off along the one side of the yard, we don’t allow children. Our stunningly beautiful property is at the end of a dead end road & is gated (with security cameras) and is on 2 levels. The recreational area is on the lower level & up a steep hill & well out of sight from the lower level, are the homes and our working organic plant/animal/bird farm. This home is very privately located past our farm, at the very end of our private road (at least a block past our driveway). We are surrounded by deep forest & scenic mountains on 3 sides & the Chilliwack River with our large beach on the 4th side. This is remote living located in the middle of a forest on a gravel road (which can have potholes - mostly in spring), and is only 20 mins from Sardis. There are TONS of trails & logging roads on & beside our property & our beach is a world class fishing spot! This is a very popular place for ATVers & hikers, as well as white water kayakers (there are Class I - IV rapids & the national team trains just up the river from us), & our beach is the #1 spot on the river for fishing, (salmon, steelhead & trout). The previous tenant found the front yard to be great for shooting golf balls. No drugs or heavy drinkers, & NON-SMOKERS ONLY, including weed, INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. We have our livestock guardian dogs patrolling to keep the wildlife away & our birds & animals safe. The one dog sometimes goes to this home as he has been spoiled in the past by tenants. Fair warning: if you pet him he will sit on your feet or stand in front of you so you have to continue to pet him! They do not bark without cause, if you hear them, there is a threat nearby. We can't allow other dogs on the property as they would likely be seen as a threat. If you were raised on a farm, you’ll likely love this unique and tranquil property. Guest access Access is limited to the 3/4 acre yard as well as the beach. We are very respectful of others privacy & hopefully you are as well. Other things to note No 3rd party bookings please. We cover the first 1100 kw hours of the hydro for monthly rentals & you would be responsible for any excess. There is also a airtight wood stove if you want to keep power usage down.
