Swallows Cabin is a cosy, dog-friendly retreat for two in East Devon and is located behind the main farmhouse, away from our other holiday cottages. Set in peaceful countryside, it features a double bedroom with en suite, open-plan living space, a private enclosed garden with patio, BBQ, and stunning views. Guests enjoy access to a heated saltwater pool (May–Sept), games room, and tennis court, shared with our other guests. Perfect for couples and their furry friends. The space Swallows Cabin is warm and welcoming year-round, with an electric 'wood burning' stove for cosy autumn/winter evenings. The kitchen/dining area has a small dining table and chairs, oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer. The cosy living area has a smart TV, small two seater sofa and an armchair, to relax in front of the electric 'wood effect' stove on cooler nights and to soak in the gorgeous countryside views. Guests often spot pheasants, swallows, woodpeckers, owls, deer, rabbits and more in our paddocks and surrounding fields. The bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, a storage unit with drawers and hanging space, and a wall-mounted heater. Swallows sleeps 2 and accommodate one baby/toddler in a travel cot. The en-suite bathroom comprises a shower, wash basin, toilet and small wall-mounted heater. Parking is available by the stables, with a short walk over a small footbridge to the cabin. Please note: the bridge is not wheelchair accessible and may be slippery in wet weather. You are welcome to explore the rest of the grounds including the swimming pool, games room, tennis court, play area and paddocks. The farmhouse garden, vineyard/vegetable patch, stables and orchard are private. You are welcome to exercise dogs off the lead in our 2 paddocks and in the cabin garden. Please keep them on a lead in other parts of the grounds. Dogs aren't permitted in bedrooms or around the swimming pool. Other things to note • Bedlinen and towels provided (please bring pool towels) • Outdoor switch for lighting on arrival • Torch provided for evening returns • A travel cot, highchair, baby bath, potty, step and children’s cutlery and crockery can be provided for babies/toddlers • The fence around the garden is chest height with wire covering the lower half only • There is no livestock on site but there are often cows in the fields surrounding us • Rural location, not disturbed by fireworks
