Many movies, videos and commercials have been shot here. Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars filmed here including Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and Clint Eastwood. Some of the famous movies shot here include The Cisco Kid, High Noon and Gunfight at the OK Corral. Graham Parsons scrambled over the boulders with buddy Keith Richards in the early 1970’s before his friends chose his final resting place. Fun fact: Robert Redford took cover among the boulders just steps from Lucky’s main porch in the 1969 film, “Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here.” Today, Mane Street (horse, paw and foot traffic only) is home to Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace - a bar, music venue and restaurant famous for its live music performances ranging from country to rock n roll where legends like Paul McCartney and Robert Plant have been known to give impromptu performances. Other places to check out include the Red Dog Saloon, The Pioneer Bowl (vintage bowling alley), or The Trading Post. Head deeper into the west and explore the Old Gold Mine at Lost Horse Mine and Keys Rancho, a preserved ranch that depicts the life of a pioneer family in the 1900’s. You will be able to access all areas of the property. A code for keyless access will be provided once you make your reservation. The owner/property manager is about a half a mile away and always available to answer questions or offer assistance. Please note we do not contract with a third party management company. We offer self check-in or we can gladly welcome you and give you a tour of Lucky’s when you arrive. Please let us know your preference.
