Pretty village house in centre

Welcome to stay in our lovely traditional townhouse with perfect location, on a quiet street close to everything in Banyuls sur mer. Set over 3 floors connected by a very narrow winding staircase. At the top floor; southeast facing balcony with dining table and benches with a fantastic view of the village and mountains, including a glimpse of the Mediterranean sea. Perfect for your predinner aperitif in the shade. The space It is set over 3 floors, on the entrance floor of 32 m2 there is a fully equipped country kitchen (fridge/freezer/dishwasher/Nespresso/microwave/kettle/iron/blender/toaster) and the living/dining room with 2 French balconies. A pretty but narrow winding staircase takes you up to the bedroom floor, also 32 m2. There is one bedroom with a bunk bed, 90 x 200 cm. One double bedroom with a 160x 200 cm bed. In this room there is also a sofabed 90x 200. Both bedrooms have balcony doors . Therand air conditioning. There is also a separate WC as well as a bathroom with washingmachine. In total the house can accommodate up to 6 people. The third floor, total 16 m2, comprises of a living room with a convertible sofa which makes a bed of 140 x 200, with an additional bedding mattress for comfort. There is also a TV, DVD and a Playstation 3 with a selection of games. This room leads to a balcony 4 x 1,5 meter with dining table and benches with a fantastic view of the village and mountains, including a glimpse of the Mediterranean sea. As the terrace is in the shade from about 4 pm in the summer, it is the perfect place to have your aperitif. The balcony is southeast facing so it is the perfect spot for early birds also to see the sun rise out from the sea. For outside space, we also use the street outside our door as there are rarely cars passing by. Therefore you can find thick cushions and director’s chairs to move outside in the shade for your morning coffee and say bonjour to passers-by on their way to the bakery or the beach. As the house is very centrally located, the hustle and bustle from the village entertainment can sometimes be heard also inside the house. This usually ends latest by midnight. There is a bluetooth loudspeaker if you prefer to connect and listen to the music of your own choice. Other things to note The house is ideally located, 50 meters to main pedestrian street, 200 meters to the sea. 200 meters to the train station as well as the main parking. You can start your hiking at the house and there are trails in most direction, both in the mountains as well as along the sea. The village market on Thursdays and Sundays is only 200 meters from the house. In Banyuls there are activities all year round, many of them around food, winemaking and winetasting. There are many sports activities available, sailing, scubadiving, cycling to name a few. If you want to see more of the surrounding area, then Collioure is a 10 minute drive or trainride away, Figueres with the Dali museum 50 minutes away. In the Pyrenean mountains there is also rafting, canyoning, via ferrata and hot springs to discover. Or maybe climb the region’s highest mountain, the Canigou (2784 meter) The tourist office is very helpful and you can find most information on their website.
