Located in Devon in the historic port town of Bideford, our 2 bed holiday house commands an elevated, peaceful view of the River Torridge. The house is fully equipped with a comfy lounge, large dining area and bijou but functional kitchen. The bedrooms consist of 1 master double room and 1 large twin room. There is a large upstairs bathroom. The decked patio sits at the front of the house and catches the sun all day. The long stay car park is 4 mins walk from the property. The space The house is a Victorian terrace with lots of character. We provide towels, tea towels, bedding, hand soap, washing liquid, toilet rolls and kitchen towel. There is a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and we provide 2 capsules for each day of your stay. Bideford is a lovely town - the Panniers Market is a few minutes walk away and the town centre, with its cafes and restaurants is a short walk from the house. The Tarka Trail and the SW Coastal Path are on the doorstep and the stunning beaches of the North Devon coastline are a short drive: Westward Ho! - 5mins Appledore - 10mins Woolcombe Bay - 45mins Saunton Sands - 30mins Saunton Sands - 30mins During the summer months trips to Lundy Island are available directly from Bideford. Guest access Please be aware, due to the house's elevated position, this property is only accessible via steps and may not be suitable for people with restricted mobility. While you can park very close to the house to unload, you will need to park at one of the many long stay car parks - closest is 4min walk. Car parking is cheap (e.g. £16 for 7 days). Once you park the car, you could just leave it there and use the very good bus service to get around.
