This adorable and authentic tiny log cabin, hand built from timber from the surrounding land has been a family retreat for generations. This rustic cabin is 450 sqft of coziness, with a full kitchen, gas stove, iron clawfoot tub, and beautiful views. Half a mile up the ridge line from the shores of Superior, minutes from dozens of North Shore attractions, make this Cabin your home base for an amazing North Shore Adventure. The space This cozy family getaway includes 1 Bedroom, with a custom queen bed built into the double window with nighttime star views, and a lofted reading nook with a futon, the perfect private escape for a kiddo. There is also a couch and a window bench in the living room that can sleep two more people in a pinch. The bathroom includes a beautiful iron clawfoot tub and an instant unlimited instant hot water heater for your all-night bath pleasure. The full kitchen includes a four-burner stainless steel gas stove, stainless fridge, and a folding dining table that can seat as many as 6! You also have access to a 4 burner propane grill outside. Guest access The Log Cabin is located on a compound of several tiny cabins occasionally used by the owners. You will have access to the entire 5 acre property, the firepit with outdoor couches and Adirondack chairs, luxury glass mirrored sauna and private access to the log cabin. The other cabins on the property are currently undergoing renovations, at least once a month the owners will be on the property working on the other units. We'll inform you if we plan to be on site, but you will have private use of the log cabin regardless. There is parking for several cars, or an RV camp spot, a 50amp charger for an RV or Electric Car, and even a couple camping spots for your extra adventurous friends. Please note, this is a new listing and a newly renovated cabin, current undergoing construction on the property. Though we've been airbnb hosts for years, we are still working out the quirks and learning about this cabin for ourselves. Bear with us, and please feel free to give us suggestions on how to make the stay more perfect. Also Note, you are staying in a cabin on the North Shore, in the THICK of nature. Expect to encounter nature, big and small, during your stay. The cabin is routinely treated for pests but we make no guarantees.
