Tucked into the end of private road, our home boasts views of the mountains in the winter and forested privacy in the summer. The floor to ceiling windows fill the home with light throughout the seasons. We offer an open concept kitchen, dining and family room, wonderful for coming together with friends and family. Enjoy multiple outdoor lounge areas including a wrap around deck, enclosed porch, or patio with bonfire. THE POCONO PALMS... We're excited to host you in our home. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking large meals, complete with brand new appliances, huge eat-in island, and multiple seating options throughout. Each bedroom is color themed and cozy for our guests, inspired by the architecture, design, and landscape of Palm Springs. Each bedroom features blackout child safe roller blinds, a must if you plan on sleeping in! You'll enjoy multiple outdoor lounge areas including a wrap around deck, screened in porch with our favorite suspended egg chair, and patio with seating around our large Solo Stove bonfire. We also offer a Weber gas grill for cookouts. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... Our home sits at the end of a private street with zero traffic. We're conveniently located just minutes from the interstate, as well as the charming and historic downtown of Stroudsburg. Main St offers delicious food, pubs, shopping, Grandpa Joe's Candy shop, Downriver Brewing Co, a local brewery with axe throwing and Renegade Winery with live music. We have an unfinished basement lower level that is not included in your rental. We do offer laundry, which is in the basement but all other spaces downstairs are not included for your own safety. There is a door to the basement that must remain closed at all times. We will also lock the closet in the primary bedroom. You will still have access to a hanging bar and drawers for clothing storage. We leave the property to allow you to have privacy and enjoy our home during your stay. We're always available by phone. This is our home, a work in progress, where we've gathered our family heirlooms and items that are special to us over our lives. We ask that our guests respect our home and everything inside and out of it. We ask that you kindly follow our house rules: No pets. No fireworks. No illegal drugs. No smoking. No large events and gatherings. All visitors must be on the reservation no matter if they're spending the night at the property or not. Noise must be kept at reasonable levels at all times as we have neighbors who are sensitive to intrusive noises. We have security cameras on the outside of the home. Three cars are allowed in the driveway at any given time. If we see more than three cars, you will be asked to vacate the premises without refund for violating our agreement. If you choose to use the grill, it must be properly cleaned following use. If it is not cleaned properly, you will incur an additional $50 cleaning fee. Since this is our home, it will have our food, condiments, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, etc accessible. We're happy to share these with our guests but we do ask that you replace any consumables you finish. Also we have a cat that stays at the house while we're there. We will bring our cat with us when guests are booked, but the house will likely still have some cat hair and dander that is not always picked up by the vacuum. Just a warning to those who have cat allergies!
