Beautiful sheepfold in the heart of the mountains

Combining rustic charm and modern amenities, a good starting point for hiking, our house is perfect for couples and families with children seeking peace and harmony with nature. It is an old barn completely renovated, at 900m altitude, offering a magnificent view of the valley of the Oussouet stream and the peak of the Montaigü. The house is 200m from the center of a small village, so both isolated and close to amenities (cafe hostel in the village, shops 20 mn away). The space On the ground floor is the living room keeping the full height of the sheepfold until the panelled frame, with a fireplace equipped with a wood stove large enough to heat the whole house in winter, and enjoy the spectacle of flames. A bar separates it from an American kitchen installed in 2022, between the master bedroom and the very recent bathroom, with integrated toilet. A wooden staircase leads to the two bedrooms on the floor, fully panelled, and to a bathroom. The entire layout is rustic and warm. Electric heating is available in all rooms, as an alternative to the stove. Guest access All rooms are accessible to tenants, except a closed storage room upstairs. Other things to note A supplement of 5 € per day, or 30 € per week, will be paid in winter for heating (wood for the stove, electricity).
