The 270 degree view of the serene lake, the wrap around porch, large patio with 7-person hot tub and large fire pit area, plus expansive well-appointed dock are all elements that combine to make up The Fun Spot 2's magic! The space GORGEOUS VIEWS: The Fun Spot 2 is a beautifully decorated, lake theme home that sits on an end lot in a quiet cove with deep water and stunning, expansive lake and mountain views. Gorgeous, serene, sunrise views from the dock, patio, or porch are an excellent way to start your wonderful family vacation day! Two hammocks, large stone patio with fire pit and separate fireplace, outdoor dining under a pergola for daytime shade, and a 7 person hot tub to finish off a fun relaxing day of outdoor activities on this large, flat property. An additional cozy seating space with fire-pit is found down by the water's edge. Fire wood is provided. Want some comfortable shade along with your views than enjoy the many comfortable locations to sit and enjoy the lake and mountain views on the spacious wrap around porch. There are five ceiling fans and dimmable lights for day and nighttime outdoor enjoyment on the porch. Our goal for The Fun Spot Properties is to provide the ideal venue for your most enjoyable and memorable vacation rental experience at Smith Mountain Lake! EPIC OUTDOOR ACCOMODATIONS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: Patio kitchen island area includes a gas BBQ, refrigerator, and a two burner stove top as well as a stand alone charcoal BBQ. All you will need to prepare your favorite family meal, while keeping your favorite beverages cool with easy access. Don't forget your Smore's ingredients for the fire pit - Smore's Sticks provided. Enjoy meals outside on the patio dining area that seats 10 or at the dining table for 8 located on the covered porch. The amazing dock will not disappoint; pictures don't do it justice. This 2,300 sq ft dock offers wifi and a Sonos Stereo System connected to 6 High Performance Bose Speakers positioned overhead, throughout the fully finished dock. The dock also includes recessed lighting, four fans, seating for 20, which includes two comfortable, swinging hammock chairs overlooking the lake. There is an enclosed dock house with a bar top and refrigerator to support your entertainment activities. There are two floating docks to dock your boat and jet skis with recessed cleats, bumpers, and dock buoys.. Large floater is 24' long with water depths on cove end at 13' and shore side end of the floater at 7' when lake is at normal levels. Adjacent to large floater is a 13' fixed dock with two cleats with low water mark of 4' at normal lake levels. Dock has unobstructed, breathtaking, wide, lake and mountain views while situated in a wide quiet cove. Cove is off of the main channel and has minimal boat traffic; you will not want to leave! We have provided our guests with 7 kayaks, one (two person) canoe, three paddle boards, with paddles and life jackets included. There are also multiple floaties and water toys at the dock to enjoy. We hope you enjoy hours of fun on the water and dock as we do! House location is conveniently located 5 minutes from Parkway Marina for easy access to boat rentals and fuel/supplies. HOME DESIGN AND AMENITIES: The home’s main level offers a 2 story family room that has a full expanse of windows that overlook the lake, open eat-in kitchen with large breakfast bar, dining table, and porch/ patio access that also overlook the lake and mountain. The game room with ping pong table and 72" large flat screen, smart TV with surround sound SONOS speaker bar and subwoofer is a perfect hangout area for all ages! Guests are provided HULU Live TV. As a Smart TV you have access to your own streaming service subscriptions on the 72” flat screen. You will also find a separate gaming station monitor (guest provides the game console) and two game chairs. There is also a two-person game table arcade with 25+ vintage games, including Frogger, Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and many more of your favorites. There are two en-suite bedrooms on the main floor and one en-suite King bedroom on the second floor. The primary bedroom suite (king size bed) has a flat screen smart TV with large, newly renovated bathroom with a jetted tub, double sinks, and an oversized shower. The other en-suite bedroom (queen size bed) has a flat screen smart TV and private bathroom with walk-in tile shower. The eat-in-kitchen has a large breakfast bar with plenty of counter space to prepare your meals. There are two pantry closets to hold enough food for your small army. Also on this level you’ll find the bunk room/game room. This large room is perfect for kids to call their own. In addition to all the fun and games, you’ll find two sets of bunk beds (all twin size mattresses) with an adjoining full bath. There is also a half bath, 2nd refrigerator, and laundry area to complete this level. Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, and a flat screen smart TV. The other upstairs bedroom King Suite has a King size bed plus a twin size trundle bed and a flat screen smart TV with a full bathroom. There is a large full bathroom on this level as well. Linens and towels are provided as are laundry detergent for one wash, dish and hand soap, and paper towels. All bedrooms are furnished with a sound machine sleep aid and a USB and USB-C docking station for easy access to charge your devices. Smith Mountain State Park is 2 miles down the road which includes hiking and biking trails, educational center, boat ramp, and much more if additional activities are of interest. There is plenty of room for parking on the circular driveway. This definitely is a Fun Spot and sure to make for the best vacation ever!
