The space Our property is on a Finnish island, Vajaasalo , about 150m away from the mainland, and can only be reached with a 24-hour ferry, on the island there are a hundred houses , purely summer and a very old winery where you can taste wine based on currants. Our homes and sauna are in the forest while our cafe /reception is located along the "main" street...the island is very quiet and full of little streets and trails to be walked by bike or on foot. Our property overlooks the lake where from our bridge of about 120 square meters you can enjoy nature or rent a mtb, a cajak or a sup. In our houses there is no electricity or heating and the obviously compostable bathroom is outside the accommodation, however we have a few meters of the houses in the common area of the power outlets (solar energy) and a small refrigerator and a barbecue for common use for guests. The price of the listing refers exclusively to the night in one of our houses with the compostable bathroom outside for exclusive use equipped with a small water point to wash your face/hands. With a surcharge you can enjoy the typical wood-burning sauna, a unique place to wash. Upon reservation we also provide a catering service: breakfast lunch, dinner excursions by boat or sup/ bike/trekking. Upon reservation, we also provide a service to and from kuopio airport.
