Nestling opposite the Shropshire Union canal, Chester's only remaining Victorian tin chapel has been lovingly restored. Little Tin Chapel is the perfect base for your holiday just a two minute walk from the historic Roman walls and a ten minute walk into the city centre. The open plan 20' x 40' living area provides the perfect place to relax in front of the wood burning stove or to cook a delicious meal in the stylish kitchen. Double doors lead to the garden. The space The Little Tin Chapel has been beautifully restored, retaining its original charming character and features with stained glass arched windows throughout. The main open plan 20' x 40' living area has reclaimed pine flooring underfoot, re-instated tongue and groove ceiling and Victorian style radiators. Providing the perfect place to relax on the Harris Tweed sofas in front of the wood burning stove. The stylish kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Double doors provide access to the garden which has a decked area with outdoor furniture and a lawned area. The chapel sleeps four. The main bedroom has a Super king size zip and link bed so can be used as either twin beds or super king sized bed. The other bedroom has a double bed. The large bathroom boasts a walk in shower and roll top bath to unwind in after a day's shopping, sightseeing or walking in the surrounding countryside. The Chapel has a useful laundry room with washing machine and freezer. We also have a secure bike storage room and there are cycling routes on the doorstep, just let us know in advance if you need this facility. There is a free private car parking space a two minutes walk from the Chapel or alternatively there is free on road parking with no time restrictions. The Little Tin Chapel is the perfect base for your holiday just a two minute walk from the historic Roman walls, a ten minute walk into the city centre and a short walk of half a mile from the Racecourse. The Chapel received a glowing review by The Independent in the travel section on the 17th March 2015. It was featured in Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine in April 2016 (pages 220 - 231) By saving this tin chapel it can be enjoyed by all, for future generations, as a unique and memorable holiday home. Other things to note The Chapel is not suitable for children under the age of ten.
