Brand-new bright cabin with great view of Copper Mountain designed by a local artist and architect. Yes, this is one cabin: not two. The locally sourced charred cedar cabin is truly one of a kind in this area. This one bedroom cabin functions as a home with kitchen. The view is truly incredible. Tucked up on the mountain side: a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, 20 mins to White Water ski resort rd. Enjoy golf, fishing all the beauty, adventure and amenities the Kootenay’s have to offer. The space The cabin is tucked in a hillside with outstanding view of the valley. The cabin has two sides to the floor plan attached by a hallway where entrances are. Yes, it is one cabin NOT two side by side. One side is a living room and kitchen; the other is a king bedroom and bathroom with shower. There is a deck out the front entrance. As you will be given an entry code, you can enjoy privacy during your stay. We live on the property in our own home which is not visible and far from cabins. There are other cabins on the property above. We are available during reasonable hours to help out. Being a native Nelsonite I am always happy to provide recommendations and ideas. The last short bit up to the cabins can be difficult for some vehicles or driver who are not used to mountain roads. Snow tires are essential in winter months. Parking is available just below cabins for those who choose to use it-especially during winter months after large snowfall. This being said the cabins are mountain cabins. If I you are adverse to winter driving, walking or have a 2-wheel drive vehicle with all season tires, this might not be the place for you during winter months. Guest access You have the entire cabin for the duration of your stay. Enjoy the lake and mountain views and relax. You will be given an entry code to come and go as you please this also helps to make check in seamless. Other things to note As we can have large dumps of snow during the winter, winter tires are essential during winter, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended, but not essential, as there is ample parking just a stones throw below cabins for those who choose to park there.
