Welcome to our family friendly mountain escape! Dogs OK? Hot Tub? EV Charger? Huge Deck? Fire Pit? Flat Driveway? Check! Tucked away in the foothills of Twain Harte, ours is the ultimate cozy cabin boasting all the modern amenities while giving you a warm hug from the rustic pine walls. With just enough upgrades to feel like home, you feel swept away in mountain charm. Centrally located from many of the area’s attractions, you'll find quiet yet close to town, easy access & a flat driveway. The space Welcome to Trickle Creek Lodge, where we have kept the rustic charm of a cozy ski lodge, but added all the modern conveniences of home! There are 2 queen bedrooms and a loft with 4 twin beds for bunkhouse fun - all with new luxury mattresses with gel or memory foam! The master bedroom is on the main floor whereas the second bedroom and loft bunkroom are located upstairs. Each of the rooms has hotel like linens, blackout blinds or curtains with ceiling fans. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, however we only have one shower and tub combo (the upstairs bath is a half bath only). Neither of the bathrooms are an ensuite so they're accessible to everyone! High speed guest Wi-Fi has great coverage throughout the property with range extenders!! Our open kitchen has quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances and little extras everywhere! Coffee lovers have choices with both Keurig and drip coffee makers, or a french press! We provide starter coffee packs and k cups. We also provide paper towels, and most of the basics for cooking and grilling even during the holidays! Please ask us if there is anything specific you need! The living room boasts comfy leather seating, knitted blankets, and a propane stove for those cold days, along with a large SmartTV for streaming. We are sticklers for cleanliness and wash all the throw blankets between stays. Central heating is a great addition to the propane stove in the living room. In summer we have a whole home A/C system for those hot days and warm summer nights. The expansive deck has a 5 burner BBQ grill, large fire pit with polywood Adirondack chairs, seating for 6 at the outdoor dining table and a conversation set for 4 with private HOT TUB! We provide the propane for the fire pit and BBQ. We provide a Level 2 EV Charger in the garage!! Due to the high cost of electricity in the Sierras, please notify us if you plan to charge your electric vehicle on the property. Charging electric cars will be billed at 55 cents per kWh based on usage monitored by the EV charger app. Our garage is available for your mountain gear and a mid size car or SUV during your stay! Access is easy with daily snow plowing from the county and a short FLAT driveway! Please note there is no access to the garage from inside the cabin. In our laundry room at the back of the garage, we include a small steamer, an iron and ironing board as well as laundry soap and dryer sheets. We also have a home office (with lots of light and a meadow view) with desk, lamp and ergonomic office chair for those necessary work from home calls or meetings. There is a Double Hoop Basketball game that folds up in the garage for some family game time fun. This is a huge hit for kids of all ages (not surprisingly, the adults love it too!) We welcome dogs at our cabin - up to a maximum of 2 dogs with no weight restrictions. We charge $75 pet fee per stay. Excessive damage or cleaning required due to your pet will be charged to the guest at cost. 🚭 No smoking, vaping, or candles allows on the property inside AND outside. Due to high fire hazard in our area, this includes on the decks and porch. Any sign of smoking anywhere on the property will be charged $500. 🚫 Absolutely no fireworks (including sparklers & bang snaps), confetti, glitter or silly string - double cleaning fee and $500 fine applies. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin and the garage/laundry room with a unique Wi-Fi key code lock to make access easy for everyone! Check-in time is totally flexible!! Please note there is NO access between the cabin and the garage from inside the cabin for our guests. The stairs are very slippery and steep and for the safety of our guests, we ask that you access the garage from the outside with the code provided. Other things to note In summer, you'll find some useful extras in the garage for heading up to the nearest lake (Pinecrest - about 30 mins East of the cabin). We have included a Tommy Bahamas Beach umbrella, two beach chairs, an extra cooler and beach blanket. In winter, we recommend that guests carry chains as we do not provide them and are often required when accessing fun activities further East up highway 108. We provide a snow shovel and salt for our guests during the winter months. We will do our best to have the cabin prepped for entry access, however do not clear snow during your stay. While our cabin officially sleeps 8 people comfortably, the cabin is best set up for no more than 6 adults. For adult groups larger than 6, you may want to consider alternative accommodations. We want to reinforce that while we do have 3 security cameras on the property outdoors in addition to the doorbell camera, none of these have a direct view of the deck for the privacy of our guests. The primary purpose of these cameras is to monitor weather conditions (snow, rain, wind storms), assure adherence to our house rules and monitor the security of the property at the main entrance and garage.
