With a king-sized bed in each bedroom and a full en suite bathroom attached to each, everyone can get a good night of sleep, fresh for a day of visiting favorite haunts in Bloomington and on campus. The basement has a queen sleeper sofa and full bathroom as well. With attention to details both small and large, the kitchen has everything at hand to cook and eat meals without having to lug anything along with you. We provide a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, coffee, tea, and sweetener to get your morning started off right. Pots, pans, baking dishes and sheets, utensils, glasses, mugs, knives, cutting boards, and even a stand mixer are at the ready for you. Each bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and abundant towels for all. The beds have new mattresses and soft cotton bedding, with extra blankets in case you get chilly and ceiling fans in case you get warm. Each bedroom has a dresser and walk-in closet so you can truly unpack. The living room and basement have smart TV’s ready to go, with an HDMI port for the downstairs TV for bringing along gaming devices and DVD players. The fireplace will charm you with its choices of colors and heat, and the comfy seating will draw you in after a fun day out on the town. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage in the bistro seating on the back balcony, overlooking a pretty wooded area. Finally, if you get ready to brush your teeth and find you’ve forgotten your toothbrush, you’ll find backups at the ready of essential toiletries. Located in a new neighborhood of lovely townhomes, this lovingly cared for home is definitely not a place to come to party. The home shares a wall with a next door neighbor, so normal neighborhood quiet hours are important for the comfort of all. If you’re feeling kinda rowdy, this is not the right place for you. Our guests come to enjoy each other’s company and enjoy Bloomington and the IU campus. They appreciate a very clean and well-appointed home, and treat it with care and respect. We are incredibly lucky to get to host such wonderful guests! Guest access Guests can park on the driveway in front of the garage, then enter the home through the adjacent door with electronic keypad, or through the front door with the same keypad. There is a limited amount of street parking as well. Other things to note Guests must climb stairs to get to the sleeping areas. Guests have access to the entire townhouse with the exception of one closet in the basement (there is a basement closet available for guest use). We will provide some messaging over the course of your stay but we have learned that our guests prefer to be left alone to enjoy their stay. Cole Chudy and Dennis Mockler are availble if needed. This is a quiet townhouse community on the southwest side of Bloomington near I-69, minutes from stores, restaurants, downtown and the Indiana University campus. There isn't a lot of traffic in the neighborhood. Parking is provided in the driveway in the back of the townhouse so the driveway isn't on Flat Rock Road. It is next to W. Countryside Lane.
