You'll have a 5 acre space with 360 degree views of the desert and mountains all to yourself. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single story house with vaulted ceilings and a detached ~700 sq ft indoor game room and ~200 sq ft yoga space with 10 ft ceilings. If any of the above rules are not followed, you will be subject to additional fees. The property is NOT fenced in, and there are wildlife that make it unsafe for pets to be left unattended. Other things to note *The Desert Rose is permitted and licensed through the city *8 people MAX (NO EXCEPTIONS, THIS IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR PERMIT) *Due to liability reasons, no off-roading is permitted on the property. *all guest count changes need to be communicated for emergency situations *Quiet Hours- 10pm to 8am (sound and bass travels unexpectedly far here in the desert) *Light Pollution City Ordinance (outside lights dimmed or turned off at 10pm, better to enjoy the stars anyway) *Any tampering with security system or outdoor cameras will automatically result in removal from the property with no refund. *no parties & no events Check-in time is 4 pm, check-out time is 11 am. Other things to note PLEASE READ THIS SECTION: GETTING TO THE PROPERTY: You will be required to travel one mile on a dirt road to access the property. You do not need four wheel drive to travel on this road as it is hard packed and maintained by the city. There are no street lights (but plenty of stars), so we are happy to send additional information and answer any questions you may have about navigating, especially at night. WATER The house is on a private well. Some people drink the water and others don't. If you have any doubts, you should bring your own drinking water. There are no ice cubes or water in the fridge/freezer however do provide ice cube trays for your use, including the big ice cubes for cocktails/spirits. We provide coffee & tea. PLUMBING We are on a septic tank. Do not bring additional guests above max occupancy. Only flush toilet paper and human waste in the toilet. If the plumbing clogs due to other items flushed in the toilet you are liable to pay for the repair. CREATURES Desert animals are native to the area and you should be careful outdoors. Animals that you can meet include but are not limited to: snakes, lizards, scorpions, beetles, grasshoppers, spiders, jack rabbits, kangaroo rats, mice, coyotes, gnats, and flies. All doors are sealed and we do all we can to keep wildlife outside and you should too. Keep doors closed at all times. There will be given NO refund for desert animals as they are native to the area and you are the guest. We do ask that you bring your own fire wood if you'd like to have a fire as desert creatures like to make homes in wood piles. WEATHER: All weather elements are outside our control as a host. As a result, we'd encourage you to check the forecast and reach out with any questions. NOISE Noise travels quickly, so be respectful of your surroundings. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 7 am. San Bernardino County regulations. Fines and criminal charges are a real possibility. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the quiet desert! TRASH: The trash dumpster is near the street on the south-east portion of our lot. It is emptied every other Wednesday (holidays/weather may impact the schedule). All trash should be in CLOSED trash bags and placed inside the container. NO trash next to trash bins. You can include recyclables in the dumpster. Do not throw trash outside. Do not leave food unattended inside or outside. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE: The property has 1 ring doorbell and 2 Ring cameras that are used for security purposes only. You are not allowed to cover the video cameras. Instead of using the ring door bell, please direct communication through the Airbnb messaging system or contact us ANYTIME via phone.
